Genius 52UV live in Posen
(PresseBox) - KBA-MetroPrint attended the regional trade fair Poligrafia in Posen, Poland with a Genius 52UV with a varnishing unit. Between April 12 and April 15, 2011, trade visitors from the region could enhance their plans and ideas for future investments together with the competent sales specialists - even the legendary "Walker Texas Ranger, Chuck Norris was there to see the presentation full of action and quick job changes.
The interested visitors were shown printing applications on very different plastics as well as special, metalized papers. It was impressive to see the manifoldness and flexibility of the Genius 52UV during the many demonstrations.
The machine can print material with a thickness of up to 0.8 mm. A unique feature in the 36 x 52 cm format class are the five keyless offset inking units which are arranged around a central counter pressure cylinder. In a single gripper bite, the Genius 52UV can print the finest, even frequency modulated screen. And the machine does not require any water, solvent and powder. Thanks to the UV colors, the substrates can be further processed directly after the print. The high reliability of the Genius 52UV and the many different kinds of material it can process allow the user to often develop new, additional business areas.
What makes the machine especially interesting is the fact that thanks to the fast "inking up" of the anilox short inking units, the tenth sheet will already have photorealistic quality. This prevents a lot of spoilages making it very efficient in case of expensive substrates.
But the costs and the risk for customer complaints are also kept low thanks to very short job changeover times of only a few minutes and the color stability during the entire printing operation. The standardization achieved for the entire process is a precondition and the reason for customer satisfaction.
Well, the hollywood star was only represented by a double, but the presentation of the Genius 52UV was real and a success for KBA-MetroPrint.
