Asyril and FREI Technik presents LIBRA at Medtec Europe in Stuttgart, March 22-24, 2011
(PresseBox) - LIBRA is a new compact robotized tabletop-system for automatic loading of high precision balances. It consists of a PowerDelta robot and a Mettler Toledo weighing device. The system is ideally suited for lab applications and can handle a large variety of componetns or tubes. LIBRA integrates a tray holder mounted on a drawer mechanism which offers convenient access for the operator. Workflows can be programmed by using an intuitive user interface.
To obtain precise measurements, it is very important to avoid disturbances during measurement. This is why fan-less electronics and low-noise electromechanical gripper are used. Of course, pneumatic grippers can also be provided if desired, depending on the application.
LIBRA is successfully used by customers in the field of Laboratory Automation and has proven its efficiency by replacing tedious low added-value manual operations.
