(PresseBox) - This year?s coveted ?Composite Innovations Award? is being announced for the 5th time. The award is endowed with a scholarship valued at 18,000 EUR for the extra-occupational ?Composites? study program at the Private University of Applied Sciences Göttingen that culminates in a ?Master of Science? degree. Applications may be submitted up to May 6, 2011.
Innovation drivers in the target field of carbon fiber-reinforced polymers (?CFRP? for short) whose proposals decisively contribute to the development of materials and methods for marketable carbon fiber-reinforced composite structures are invited to submit their applications.
The ?Composite Innovations Award 2011? is aimed at companies, research institutes and persons in the target field of CFRP. The award is endowed with a scholarship for the ?Composites? extra-occupational study program that ends with a ?Master of Science? degree at the Private University of Applied Sciences Göttingen amounting to 18,000 EUR. The program can be started in the winter semester 2011/2012. Further information on the study program is available at www.pfh.de/en/
The award is funded by CFK-Valley Stade e.V. together with the Hanseatic City of Stade and the Private University of Applied Sciences Göttingen with the objective of promoting technology and market drivers in the target field of CFRP.
The ?Composite Innovations Award 2011? will be presented at the 5th CFK Valley Stade Convention on 07-08 June 2011. More than 450 international visitors ? leading experts, developers and applicants in the field of CFRP ? are expected at the annual conference and accompanying exhibition.
