UltraLED by SCHNEIDER KREUZNACH wins Rhineland-Palatinate Innovation Award
(PresseBox) - Schneider-Kreuznach has this year won a special prize in the category ?Industry? for its LED illumination system UltraLED. The prize is part of the Rhineland-Palatinate Innovation Award. ?The Innovation Award is granted by the federal state government to promote innovation, particularly in small and mid-sized companies, and to honor special achievements,? said Hendrik Hering, Minister of Economic Affairs for Rhineland-Palatinate and patron of the award, at the ceremony on 4 November in Kaiserslautern.
Schneider-Kreuznach?s new UltraLED system earned the award due to its ingenuity. UltraLED systems from Bad Kreuznach help to ensure quality during production, even at extremely fast speeds. High-performance LEDs combined with Schneider-Kreuznach freeform lenses project homogeneous light fields onto the components to be controlled, enabling highly precise monitoring of the production goods with modern industrial camera systems. Applications range from checking the fill levels of milk bottles to carrying out meticulous controls on solar cells.
