HÖRZU and Deutsche Post are in pursuit of the best team of investigators on German television
Call for the Readers’ Choice of the GOLDEN CAMERA from HÖRZU
(firmenpresse) - (Berlin) Crime shows continue to enjoy great popularity on German television. When it comes to hunting down criminals, the days where investigators did the job alone are long over – today they are particularly successful in teams. For this reason, for the Readers’ Choice for the next awards presentation of the GOLDEN CAMERA from HÖRZU, Europe’s most popular weekly program magazine is searching together with the Deutsche Post for the best team of investigators on German television.
Up until December 10, 2010, HÖRZU readers have the opportunity to vote per postcard, Internet ballot on GOLDENEKAMERA.DE or per telephone to choose among the total of 16 investigator teams nominated by the HÖRZU editorial staff:
Three of them from the ARD series “Tatort” (Crime Scene). Here, one can select amongst the nominees Ulrike Folkerts and Andreas Hoppe, Klaus J. Behrendt and Dietmar Bär or Jan Josef Liefers and Axel Prahl. Other teams from ARD crime shows that have been nominated are the teams from the series “Im Angesicht des Verbrechens” (In the Face of Crime), Jan Fedder and colleagues from “Großstadtrevier” (City Precinct), “Polizeiruf 110” (Police: Call 110) with Anneke Kim Sarnau and Charlie Hübner and the team of Caroline Peters, Bjarne Mädel and Meike Droste from “Mord mit Aussicht” (Murder With a View). Nominees on the ballot from ZDF crime series are the investigator teams Maja Maranow and Florian Martens from “Ein starkes Team” (A Strong Team), Senta Berger, Gerd Anthoff and Rudolf Krause from “Unter Verdacht” (Under Suspicion), “Das Duo” (The Duo) Charlotte Schwab and Lisa Martinek, Ulrike Kriener and Inez Björg David from “Kommissarin Lucas” (Commissioner Lucas) and Wolfgang Stumph and colleagues from “Stubbe – von Fall zu Fall” (Stubbe – Case by Case), along with the teams from “Nachtschicht” (Night Shift) and “KDD”. Further nominees on the ballot include the SAT 1 investigator duo Henning Baum and Maximilian Grill from “Der letzte Bulle” (The Last Cop) and the team from the RTL series “Alarm für Cobra 11” (Alarm for Cobra 11).
The “Best Investigator Team” will be awarded the GOLDEN CAMERA from HÖRZU in the category Readers’ Choice on February 5, 2011.
The 46th Awards Presentation of the GOLDEN CAMERA from HÖRZU will take place on February 5, 2011 in the Ullstein Auditorium of the Berlin location of the Axel Springer AG. The gala, hosted by Hape Kerkeling, will be broadcast live in ZDF starting at 8:15 pm. In addition to ZDF, the official partners of the awards presentation are Deutsche Post, Mercedes-Benz, Samsung, Duckstein and Darboven.

Der Berliner Künstler Wolfram Beck entwarf sie nach dem Vorbild der Farnswort-Kamera, der ersten elektronischen Kamera der Welt. Die GOLDENE KAMERA wird von der Traditionsmanufaktur Koch & Bergfeld in Bremen gefertigt.
