EnOcean names Unitronic 'Distributor of the Year 2010'
(PresseBox) - EnOcean GmbH, headquartered in Oberhaching near Munich (Germany), has awarded Unitronic AG, headquartered in Düsseldorf (Germany), the distinction of 'Distributor of the Year 2010' in recognition of outstanding performance in the marketing of its revolutionary battery-less radio sensors.
Michael Gartz, International Sales Manager at EnOcean, stressed at the prize award ceremony that Unitronic was not only being honored as 'Distributor of the Year 2010' for its significantly increased sales figures in Germany, but the award also reflects a number of key criteria including inventory investment, marketing activity, design-in support and quality of information and communication. "Our maintenance-free wireless sensor solutions for use in buildings and industrial installations provide reliability, security and sustainability. Ideally, our distributor partners should provide the same capabilities - that is definitely the case with Unitronic", said Michael Gartz.
Stefan Hauf, Unitronic's CEO, is pleased at being selected for the honor 'Distributor of the Year 2010'. "EnOcean solutions, based on miniaturized energy converters, ultra-low-power electronic circuitry and reliable battery-less wireless technology, fully convinced us and our customers right from the start, not least because EnOcean's radio sensors enable intelligent monitoring and control solutions that are not possible with any other technology."
With the award program 'Distributor of the Year', EnOcean demonstrates the importance of developing strategic relationships with its worldwide network of distributors who are invaluable for business development. "Through selling our maintenance-free wireless sensors and offering design-in support, our distributors play an extremely important role in bringing EnOcean's innovative wireless sensor technology to major international markets. Furthermore, increasingly often they also conduct large scale projects with OEMs in the fast-growing building automation industry. Recognizing this performance will also continue to be important to us in the future," emphasized Michael Gartz.
The award program provides EnOcean's distributors with a complete set of services including second-level support by EnOcean field application engineers (FAEs), yearly distribution meetings, FAE trainings, assistance with OEM projects and support in developing new markets.
