MicroDiscovery launches new version of its analytical software GeneSpotter
(PresseBox) - At the international Trade Fair BIOTECHNICA 2010 in Hannover, MicroDiscovery will introduce the latest release of its innovative GeneSpotter software. For version 4.0, the innovative program has been completely renewed and will positively surprise long-time customers as well as potential users. It optimizes microarray analysis by its multitude of features, remaining amazingly easy to use.
The GeneSpotter program combines all necessary features for biochip and microarray analysis. Making use of powerful proprietary algorithms, processes for spot finding and grid positioning are automated, speeding up and simplifying image analysis. GeneSpotter is highly compatible with other programs. An import of GALfiles containing information on the spot pattern is possible. Results can be easily exported into an Excel and GPR format for configurable reporting and downstream processing. With the additional batch mode, it is easily possible to process over 100 biochips at once, avoiding time-consuming and error-prone routine work and speeding up analyses.
