Eurocor: Lectures for breakfast
Bonn life sciences company Eurocor offers specialist lectures to start the day at the TCT in Washington.
(firmenpresse) - Bonn, 22 September 2010 – Only the early bird catches the worm, so they say. This also applies to doctors at the TCT Congress in Washington, with important information for early risers.
The Eurocor Breakfast Symposium in Room 150 B began already at seven in the morning. Entitled "Drug-Eluting Balloon DIOR: Insights in Concept and Clinical Application" and chaired by Pieter R. Stella from Utrecht University Hospital in the Netherlands, the symposium provided an opportunity for international experts to inform about their latest study results.
Dr. Mariann Gyongyosi from Vienna General Hospital reported on pre-clinical results with the DEB DIOR.
Dr. Ron Wakesman from Washington Hospital Center provided initial insights into the results of the international "Valentines Trial".
Dr. Antonio Serra from Hospital del Mar in Barcelona spoke about the Spanish register.
Dr. Alfredo Rodriguez from Otamendi Hospital in the Argentinian capital of Buenos Aires looked at whether DEB is also an option for diabetes, while Dr. Karl-Ludwig Schulte from the Vascular Centre at Berlin's Charité hospital reported on experience with drug-eluting balloon catheters in peripheral applications.
