New 2-component cold plastic SPOTFLEX® application system boasts high marking speed and modular build as well as user friendliness
The first SPOTFLEX® application procedure was already developed in 1984 by HOFMANN, the market leader for road marking technology. The new, improved system thus includes more than 25 years of experience and successful use in practice.
(firmenpresse) - The innovations are particularly noticeable in the high marking speed. An agglomerate line distance of 2 cm and one-row nozzle arrangement achieves up to 4.0 km/h; this corresponds to roughly 55 lines per second.
"The high application speed at constant good quality is a real advantage of the new system. In addition to double lines, it is now possible to carry out line combinations of continuous and broken lines in one pass," explains Torsten Pape, Head of Sales and Marketing at HOFMANN.
Moreover, the new 2-component cold plastic SPOTFLEX® application system boasts a modular spray bar build with individual nozzle holders and attached nozzles. The machine operator can assemble the spray bar as needed (required line width and/or lateral agglomerate distance).
The individual nozzles can be exchanged within a few seconds without tools. This simplifies maintenance and cleaning work, for a clogged nozzle for example, making complete purging of the system unnecessary (purging agent reduction).
