TQMPxxxx, the QorIQ™ Module - the next generation in professional communication
The embedded module TQMPxxxx from TQ-Components is the next generation of the well established PowerQUICC III module familiy TQM85xx. Freescale’s QorIQ™ processor family P1 and P2 open up new performance capabilities in the world of communication. With one or two e500 cores and a clock rate of 800 MHz and 1.2 GHz, the TQ modules with QorIQ™ processors offer highest performance and highest computational efficiency. Thanks to the 45nm technology for processors, this module has a lower current draw than the comparable PowerQUICC III module but offers the same performance.
(firmenpresse) - The TQ Minimodule TQMPxxxx can be used for many applications, and with its high-speed interfaces, the module provides an excellent basis for fast and efficient networking.
In addition, with its integrated Flash and up to 2 GB DDR3 SDRAM, the module is the perfect solution for applications with high data processing rates and high data volume.
The 440-pole high-speed connector provides all relevant processor interfaces within the application. Like all TQ modules, this module is a completely independent unit. All required voltages are generated on-board ensuring a proper system boot.
The compact dimensions of only 84 mm x 55 mm, the optionally available extended temperature range, and the robust design allow the use even under harsh conditions.
With the universal starterkit STKQorIQ, the start of a new project is possible within a very short time period. Thus time and money can be saved already in the evaluation phase of a project.

The modules offer small dimensions and long-term use, as well as meeting high quality standards. Industry standards and longevity are TQ’s highest priorities. Another important pillar of TQ-Components is industry PCs. They are characterised by their great robustness and long-term use. The space-saving mini industry PCs stand out thanks to their high degree of modularity. The customer can implement individual solutions without purchasing unnecessary product components.
