Bizerba sets milestones with open standards: worldwide first manufacturer independant weigher and digital signage software for the POS.

With the software RetailImpact based on open standards, Bizerba is introducing a paradigm shift in retail. “Our software supports the two supplier strategy of many traders. It optimally supplements the modern Bizerba PC weigher from the series K class for example. The open programming however also makes it possible to integrate it into the existing infrastructure of the trader without a problem. Existing PC weighers even from other manufacturers can also be integrated. This also applies to the software RetailImpact, with which e.g. in co-operation with an existing merchandise management software, the PC weigher can be used as modern marketing instruments and in this way contribute to higher turnover. Existing investments will be protected in this way” explains Matthias Harsch, spokesman for Bizerba management.
With the software RetailImpact conceived and developed by the technology manufacturer Bizerba, the buying experience will be even more inviting and pleasant for the consumer at the point of sale (POS). They will obtain competent support where they make most of their purchase decisions, whether it is using cross selling, recipes including shopping lists or professional advice at the counter. In this way not only the desire to buy and the loyalty to the trader will increase but also the turnover.

The intelligent marketing assistant RetailImpact
Using the intelligent marketing assistant RetailImpact, classic sales generators such as couponing and cross selling but also further training content such as merchandise knowledge for the operators is created, managed and maintained. Therefore the software manages multi branch groups of weighers defined in advance, and in this way advertising projects can be completed more quickly and effectively and errors can be avoided. Bizerba provides the all in one solution for marketing and sales of food retail for optimal consultation by the sales personnel: goods information, nutritional values, recipes etc. are directly available for consumer advice and contribute to increased shopping experience and a higher level of customer satisfaction.







Intuitive operation
“RetailImpact provides simple and intuitive user management of the operating interface. The software contains various tools and functions which enable optimum and individual advertising campaigns on the screens of the weighers. In this way for example clear filing of all data in customer individual sub folders for pictures, videos, texts, audio, keyboards, advertising screens, advertising projects and event projects guarantees a quick and targeted selection of photos” explains Harsch. When selecting the picture the user receives a large preview picture, and so confusion is avoided. The operator oriented software is simple and quick to use, it is fun to work with and gives creative leeway. Furthermore RetailImpact controls the flawless printing of recipes using the printer. Printing is possible in variable lengths and is not committed to a pre-defined layout.

Bizerba all-round service: Values
Access to RetailMall is an integral component of RetailImpact. To support the start in the visual sales promotion, Bizerba offers information about more than 16,000 fresh articles in the online shop RetailMall, which Bizerba describes as Values instead of the expression content - from a general product description to photos, right up to origin and content details. And all of this in six languages for all product groups, whether fruit and vegetables, meat and fish, game and poultry or herbs and spices. Users can also find recipes here for example by star chef Schuhbeck or from kuechengoetter.de, emotional product photos for advertising campaigns, seasonal occasions or pre-defined values packages. There is no limit to creativity.
