WASI focused on three topics during the Fastener Fair: news products in the Maritim and Solar Divisions and as a special highlight:
The new Logistics – Center
Located in Wuppertal – Start of operation in mid-2009
Built-up area covers 7.300 sq. m.
High-Bay Warehouse with space for 156.000 compartments and 12.200 pallets
12 trucks/day for incoming goods
Storage Space: 12.200 palettes
"The new Logistics Center is an important step for is in meeting the growing logistic needs of our customers and facing the ongoing globalisation process“, Kiele-Dunsche points out. The growing diversity in the customer's requirements was again confirmed in the many conversations that took place during the Fastener Fair. Short response times, handling of large trading volumes and individual packaging are important features which WASI can offer their customers with this future-oriented Logistics Center.
