ID: 1005265

• Top-class supporting programme featuring leading lights in the sector
• Attendance at the lectures in the CERAMITEC FORUM is free of charge to visitors

(firmenpresse) - It's not just the supporting programme at this year's CERAMITEC (20 to 23 October 2009 in Munich) that's first class. The speakers who will be talking about the various focus themes are highly regarded experts in the ceramics sector.

The programme kicks off on Tuesday, 20 October, with the very topical subject of 'Energy and Cost Efficiency in the Ceramic Industry'. Among those addressing this issue will be Dr Franz Beneke, chairman of the trade association of thermoprocessing and waste technology (Fachverband Thermoprozess- und Abfalltechnik) in the VDMA, and Maik Fischer, a project engineer at Eisenmann AG.

Leading sector experts are also taking to the rostrum in the 'Technical Ceramics and Powder Metallurgy Day', on Wednesday, 21 October. These include: Prof. Dr.-Ing. Paul Beiss, Director of the Institute for Materials Applications in Mechanical Engineering, Aachen; Arnaud Hory, Managing Director of CerLase SAS; Prof. Herbert Danninger, Institute Director at the Technical University of Vienna; and Jeff Brundage, Sales Manager, Superior Technical Ceramics.

The 'Heavy Clay Day' on Thursday, 22 October also features equally high-calibre speakers, among them Dr.-Ing. Philip Bahke, Project Manager Bayer Climate Check at Bayer Technology Service GmbH, the Managing Director of Novokeram Max Wagner GmbH, Christian Wagner, and Márton Varga, Managing Director of BURTON GmbH + Co. KG.

The India Day on 23 October, which is being organised this year for the first time at CERAMITEC, has an impressive line-up, too – with highly regarded international speakers. Taking part here alongside Anand Damle, the Managing Director of De Boer Damle Private Limited, will be Sandeep Dave, Director of Neptune Machinery, Swapan Guha, Managing Director of Hopewell Ceramics and President of the Indian Ceramics Society and others. Together they will be providing valuable insights into the various segments of the Indian ceramics market.

Simultaneous interpretation – in German and English – is provided at all lectures. Attendance at the lectures is free of charge; the forum is located in Hall A5.
