Wallie and OGPlanet Europe team up for the launch of Rumble Fighter!
European players of OGPlanet games can now use the Wallie-card to purchase in-game items.
(firmenpresse) - London, UK, August 26th 2009 – OGPlanet, a leading publisher of free-to-play massively multiplayer online games and Wallie, among the world’s leading pre-paid cards, today announced their partnership which will be effective in OGPlanet’s first European game, Rumble Fighter.
Rumble Fighter is a fighting MMA (mixed-martial arts) game, easy to pick up and fun to play. It was launched in Europe on July 27 and is available to all European PC gamers, for free, at http://rf.ogplanet.eu.
In Rumble Fighter, players can upgrade and customise their fighter by either earning “Carats” (through winning battles), or by buying “Astros”, OGPlanet’s virtual currency. From today, players can buy Astros through the Wallie-card, available at all major retailers in 7 European countries: UK, Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium, Spain, Latvia and now Sweden.
As a special offer, from today to September 7th, players purchasing a Wallie-card will be offered a 20% Astro bonus.
