Compact USB-adapter board for slimline CDROM / DVD - drives with S-ATA / SATA / serial ATA standard.
(firmenpresse) - With this adapter, you can connect a slimline CDROM / DVD - drive / burner with it´s special 7P+6P SATA connector to a Motherboard with USB-device (USB internal) or USB-connector (USB external). The power supply can be effected by a 3.5 inch power connector, as well as by ES&S POWERSPIDER system.

If the drive is only used for read-mode, you can operate it with the USB power supply but for write / burn mode, you need an additional power cable (ES&S Powerspider or tab from PC-power supply unit).
