German-Austrian cooperation in Rail Radio Technology

Lagassé Communications & Industries GmbH and Center Communications Systems GmbH today announced the signing of an agreement to collaborate in the area of production, testing, stock keeping and maintenance of rail radio unit ZFM 21, all TFZ 90 components and control unit BG21S.

It has also been the Servicepartner for rail radio products from EADS.
The company emerged from the Telefunken Company and has been located in Berlin since 1955 (formerly known as AEG Telefunken, AEG Mobile Communications, EADS Secure Networks).
LC & I GmbH is today a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Canadian Groupe Lagassé and is specialised in the assembly and final integration of complex professional radio communications products and systems ("PMR" - Professional Mobile Radio). Application range covers BOS authorities and organisations for public safety, such as police, fire brigade or rescue services, but also tactical forces and the army. MCO (Maintenance in Conditional Operation) services are provides, for both analogue and digital technologies. Its activities include electronic manufacturing expertise for secure radio and telecom products that addresses the entire life cycle for vendors who have high mix, low volume production requirements.
Groupe Lagassé operations are distributes through Europe and Nord America; employs more than 1.300 people who have generated in 2008 annual revenues in excess of 155 million Euros.
