New TALEXX LED modules: Even better performance and economy for signage and effect lighting
Dornbirn, April 7, 2009 – TridonicAtco is once again setting new standards in efficient lighting effects and effective signage solutions with its new TALEXX LED modules. The new TALEXXeos models and the particularly robust new TALEXXchain versions offer greater performance, more lumens per watt and therefore better economy.
(firmenpresse) - In combination with the traditional impressive characteristics of TridonicAtco LEDs, the new modules are ideal for creating task-specific LED lighting solutions in white and colour.
Advanced TALEXXeos for modern luminaires
3rd generation TALEXXeos models are perfect for effective lighting and economical operations in downlights, spotlights, table lights or linear lights.
The new TALEXXeos units offer greater output and better luminous efficacy – the four new high-power LED modules have a luminous flux that is up to 250 lumen higher than that of previous versions. The luminous efficacy has also been increased for these LED components from 55 to 65 lm/W.
The new high-intensity LED modules offer high efficiency, narrow white light tolerances and, with an operating current of up to 700 mA, considerably improved economy – all packed in a very small unit, ideal for integration in contemporary luminaires.
Innovative TALEXXchain for brilliant advertising
For demanding signage applications TridonicAtco has launched a new generation of TALEXXchain units with the designations IP and SR. These LED chains are particularly robust and therefore suitable for even more applications. They are resistant to contact and vibration, and the IP version is even protected against water.
Another improvement is the increased light output. For TALEXXchain SR, which is now equipped with a cable clamp, this improvement is as much as 150 percent, while the TALEXXchain IP version offers 130 percent higher light output.
Installation of the chains is now even more flexible thanks not only to the cable clamp but also to the fixing lugs for metal screws and the adhesive tape at the back. The improved installation options make it easier to install the units, even on wood.
TALEXX chains in the new SR and IP series also have an advanced PC board structure with optimum thermal properties and therefore improved self-cooling. Encapsulation materials with reduced yellowing are used to achieve higher luminances and outstanding luminous flux stability.
The new TALEXXchain SR is available immediately; the IP version will be available in the summer.
High-quality accessories
In addition to the various TALEXX modules there are matching operating units such as converters, amplifiers and sequencers to ensure perfect operation. The TALEXX range is rounded off by high-quality accessories, including mounting and cooling sections, plastic covers with transparent, diffuse or semi-diffuse characteristics, and various lens systems. With such a wide range of options, it is possible to create lighting solutions for an equally wide range of applications.
