Image Access has been awarded the 13th Annual Bertl´s Best Award. The WideTEK 36 was named as Bertl’s Best Wide Format Innovative and Fastest Performance Color Scanner.
(firmenpresse) - Image Access’ large format scanner WideTEK 36 was awarded the Spring 2008 BERTL's BEST Award for large format scanners. BERTL® Inc, a leading source for objective, independent product evaluation reports and comparative analyses on digital imaging devices and workflow solutions, evaluated hundreds of imaging and document management devices over the past 12 months.
WideTEK 36 was awarded “Best Wide Format Innovative & Fastest Performance Color Scanner in 2008“. The innovative technology implemented in the WideTEK family of scanners, such as the 1 Gigabit LAN interface, web-based user interface or the high scanning speed (i.e., 8.4 ips at 200 dpi) were key factors in naming the WideTEK 36 as a winner. WideTEK scanners are the first large format scanners with an integrated touch screen, enabling true walk-up scanning, printing and copying; while enabling full scanner operation and functionality in a web-based user interface. In addition, all WideTEK scanners are RoHS and Energy Star compliant.
Each year, Bertl´s test engineers analyse current product offerings and newly introduced products in order to find devices that are far superior in price and functionality to the competition. In testing devices, the real life demands on a device are taken into consideration. Performance, functionality, quality and efficiency are the key arguments for bestowing a „Bertl´s Best“ on a product. But Bertl’s engineers also take into consideration any characteristic of a product which they find particularly compelling from an end-user’s perspective.
