Specially engraved bottle for Tokaji communicates premium quality and heritage
(firmenpresse) - Hungary’s famous Tokaji wines have been re-launched in an O-I package aimed at revitalising the brand’s image among consumers, while underlining the brand’s historical roots and premium quality.
With the Tokaji region declared as a World Heritage Site, its highly reputed wines deserved a bottle in keeping with their heritage, echoing the previous packaging, but with a more modern feel. O-I's engineering design teams took the design of the old bottle and updated it to appeal to its target audience. The ageing embossing of the “Tokaj” emblem has been revamped on the new 50cl flint bottle, which features proud shoulders, a long neck and a rounded design.
Manufactured locally at the O-I plant in Oroshaza, Hungary, the new bottle highlights the clear golden color of its noble contents, making it somehow more worthy of the exceptional wine it contains. The winning combination of high-end packaging and superior wine has already proved a great success in the market.
