PHOTODIODES?convert light directly into a current flow, whereby the current is proportional to the light intensity.?
They have a simple design and fast response time, but lower sensitivity than phototransistors.?
Similar to a photodiode, a?PHOTOTRANSISTOR?converts light into a current flow. Additionally, the transistor amplifies this current through transistor amplification.
