The most valuable ship is the Nuestra Señora de Atocha. Silver bars, silver coins, large quantities of gold and precious stones worth around 400 million dollars have been recovered. In the era of wreck searches, there are of course many stories of failure.
In any case, if you really want to achieve a return, you should focus less on salvage work and more on gold investments. The price of gold has currently settled at just under USD 3,400 per ounce.
