Gold becomes more money again
Idaho has abolished the state income tax on gold and silver.
(PresseBox) - Part of the largest tax cut in Idaho s history shows the strength and importance of gold and silver. That s because the number of U.S. states that want to simplify gold and silver transactions for their citizens has increased once again. Now in Idaho, all net capital gains or losses that meet the definition of bullion or monetized bullion are deductible. Idaho has had a sales tax exemption for the purchase of precious metals for some time. This reinforces the importance of gold and silver as money. And in inflationary times like these, residents are happy about income tax cuts. Gold is also the only money mentioned in the US Constitution. Idaho is now the 14th state without an income tax on gold and silver.
The importance of gold and silver as safe havens appears to be growing even further. This is not least due to concerns about the US economy.
