Secondly, the USA is increasingly losing its privilege as a reserve currency, as can be seen from the massive gold purchases by many central banks. Above all, there are the enormous mountains of debt of states, companies and consumers. It is well known that the value of money is dwindling in the paper money system. Just as confidence in the US dollar is waning, the attractiveness of precious metals such as gold is increasing.
