(PresseBox) - The explosionproof communication devices are intended for use in Zone 2 (EPL Gc) explosive gas atmospheres according to IEC 60079-0 and IEC 60079-15. The enclosure is designed according to IEC 60079-0 and IEC 60079-31 for use in explosive dust atmospheres Zones 21 and 22 (EPL Db and Dc). The enclosures fulfil degree of protection IP66 for use in areas at risk of dust explosion.
Non-explosionproof electronic components such as, for example, access points, WLAN antennas, GSM modules, can be built into polyester enclosures.
