Stewardesses are now smuggling gold
(PresseBox) - There is great interest in gold. An Air India Express stewardess has now been caught smuggling gold.
On a flight from Muscat, Oman to Kannur airport, the Air India Express flight attendant was caught with a kilo of gold - around 32 ounces. Gold smuggling to India is a lucrative business, even if there is a risk of arrest. High import duties and the demand for cheap gold are the reasons behind this.
