The rapid pace of digitisation is constantly giving rise to new devices that make the operation of smart home systems, access control, time recording and the control of building and home automation more comfortable and more user-friendly. Naturally, suitable enclosures are required for their development.
Versatile plastic enclosures are essential for modernisation and automation in building services systems. They need to ensure the smooth operation of these smart devices by meeting the numerous requirements of their respective applications. Suitable interfaces are often required for the integration of hardware into enclosure systems. However, the design of the enclosures themselves also plays a crucial role: functionality and ergonomics are high on the list. In smart applications, ease of use and compatibility with other end devices are often key considerations.
OKW offers a wide range of different enclosures as interfaces between man and technology: designed as wall-mounted, desktop or hand-held enclosures, but also as wearable enclosures. Depending on the place of use, enclosures are available in various protection classes up to IP67 in flame-retardant materials, e.g. to meet the requirements of UL 94 V-0 or UL 94 5V. You can choose the right enclosure for the application in question from a wide range of variants. However, if the standard enclosures reach their limits, in-house modifications offer many options for customisation.
