GBA Medical Device Services lays"foundation stone"for further growth at new location in Gilching
(PresseBox) - GBA Medical Device Services GmbH (GBA MDS) has signed a long-term rental agreement for its new company headquarters. A state-of-the-art LEAN-optimized laboratory is being built close to the current site, which will bring a fourfold increase in capacity compared to the current laboratory space. The company, which is part of the GBA Group, relies on state-of-the-art digital processes to increase the efficiency of laboratory workflows and continue to optimally meet customer requirements for faster throughput times.
GBA MDS is one of Europe s leading providers for the qualification and assessment of medical devices. The portfolio includes laboratory analyses and other services in connection with the qualification of the biological compatibility of medical devices and their materials, the qualification of manufacturing, cleaning, packaging, sterilization processes and packaging systems as well as the validation of the reprocessability of medical devices.
Next year, GBA Medical Device Services GmbH will also expand its portfolio in response to strong customer demand and provide an even more comprehensive range of analyses for medical device customers.

According to plans, the new location in Gilching will be ready for occupancy in summer 2024.
