Redundant 14-Port Managed Gigabit Ethernet Switch
(PresseBox) - ICP Germany presents the IGS-9122GP-PN, a managed Gigabit Ethernet switch with PROFINET support. This switch is perfectly suited for applications in production plants, manufacturing environments and automation systems. The switch offers twelve 10/100/1000Base-T(X) ports and two 100/1000Base-X SFP ports and requires no more than 75 mm width, 154 mm height and 109 mm depth with its IP30 metal enclosure. Overall, the IGPS-9084GP-LA provides up to 24Gbps of switching bandwidth with a latency of less than 7 ?s. For designing secure network connections, the IGS supports Ethernet redundancy protocols such as Open-Ring, O-Chain or O-Ring, with a recovery time of less than 30 ms for 250 link units, as well as MRP. The special feature of the IGS-9122GP-PN is the PROFINET certification. This enables it to meet requirements of demanding industrial automation and control applications. Supporting IEC 62439-2 MRP (Media Redundancy Protocol) and IEEE 1588v2 clock synchronization, as well as IPV6 protocol version, Modbus TCP protocol, HTTPS/SSH protocols for network security, IEEE 802.3az Energy-Efficient Ethernet technology, SMTP client and NTP server protocols, LLDP protocol, and many other features, this switch provides a reliable and efficient network solution.
With IP-based bandwidth management, application-aware QoS management, device binding security function, DOS/DDOS prevention, IGMP v2/v3 (IGMP snooping support), SNMP v1/v2c/v3 & RMON & 802.1Q VLAN network management, ACL, TACACS+ and 802.1x user authentication for security and 9.6K bytes jumbo frame, the switch is the ideal solution for all industrial network requirements. The IGS-9122GP-PN series supports dual power input from 12 to 48VDC and can therefore continue to operate in the event of a power failure using a redundant power supply.
