The time has come: air cabs are now being produced in this country

The air cabs are now to be produced in Bruchsal, Baden, and delivered to major cities around the world. Among others, to Paris, where they are to be used at the 2024 Olympic Games. A milestone that was celebrated in Bruchsal. In the course of next year, the time has come for commercial operation to start. At least 50 air cabs are to be manufactured in Bruchsal each year, and official approval and capacity are in place. The Bruchsal plant is certified for the production of the electric drive unit, final assembly and extensive flight tests.
The Volocopter, as the flying cabs are called, will make the world more sustainable. Germany is making a name for itself in the world of air cabs. After all, the company behind the air cabs is the first and only air cab company to hold approvals from the European Aviation Safety Agency as a development facility and production facility.
Next year, air cabs will be on the road in cities such as Rome, Paris and Singapore. Lithium-ion batteries will power them.
