MICR- Continuous Laser Printer of PSi Laser GmbH
(PresseBox) - PSi Laser GmbH has two different continuous laser printers in its product portfolio. The models PP 3034 and PP 4060 with a maximum paper width of up to 18" are also available in a MICR version with the model designation PP 3034MICR and PP 4060MICR. MICR stands for Magnetic Ink Character Recognition and is used in French-speaking countries as well as in Asian and American countries for personalizing checks in the banking sector.
The printing systems of PSi Laser GmbH already contain the MICR fonts E13B and CMC7 to simplify the integration into applications.
Our MICR printing systems offer the latest MICR toner technology with a print resolution of 600 dpi.
Millions of checks, coupons and similar documents are still printed every day and used as a means of payment in many countries around the world. Thanks to the MICR technology used, the documents are particularly well protected against counterfeiting and fraud.
The PP 3034MICR and PP 4060MICR models feature high printing speed, excellent print quality, compact design and low printing costs, and are ideal for security-related applications.
The MICR printers are distinguished by the following product features, among others:
- Print complete checks, receipts and other documents in one pass.
- Highest print quality for MICR printing with a print resolution of 600dpi
- Print speeds of up to 14,000 checks per hour with model PP 4060MICR and??
?? 5,400 checks per hour with model PP 3034MICR
- Paper widths of up to 18 inches with a print width of 17 inches with model PP 4060MICR

- Paper widths up to 12 inches at a print width of 11 inches with the Model PP 3034MICR
- The CMC7 and E13B fonts are already installed in the printer and can be easily integrated into any software solution.????
The model PP 3034MICR can also be operated with a standard toner if required. This gives the user a high degree of flexibility for the printer s range of applications.
