DRPC-240AI - AI inference system for DIN rail
(PresseBox) - The DRPC-240AI from ICP Germany is a compact embedded system that can be mounted on the DIN rail. The DRPC-240AI is prepared to accept the MUSTANG-V100-MX8, an accelerator card for AI applications. Together with the MUSTANG card, eight Intel? Movidius™ Myriad™ X MA2485 VPUs are available in addition to the processing power of the Intel? CoreTM i5-1145G7E. These provide excellent inference performance per watt, 16 SHAVES cores for AI calculations and native FP16 support. Intel? "Open Visual Inference Neural Network Optimization" (OpenVINO™) supports the Mustang accelerator card, providing end-to-end acceleration for a variety of neural networks. OpenVINO™ allows CNN (convolutional neural network) based pre-trained models to be deployed at the Edge with little effort. Training models such as AlexNet, GoogleNet, Tiny Yolo, Squeezenet, resNet and many more are supported by default and are easy and fast to implement. Pre-installed are 8GB of DDR4 memory and a 256GB 2.5" SATA SSD. The DRPC-240AI also offers one i225LM 2.5GbE network port, three i225V 2.5GbE with TSN/TCC functionality, two USB3.2 and USB2.0 each, as well as two RS-232 and RS-422/485 interfaces each with 2.5kV isolation, six digital inputs, six digital outputs, one HDMI with a resolution of 3840x2160 pixels and one display port with 4096x2304 pixels. A variant with a fan as well as a fanless variant is available, depending on the temperature range in which the embedded system is to be used. Additional add-on cards can be operated on the M.2 3042/3052/3080 and the M.2 2230 slot. ICP Germany delivers the system pre-assembled with Mustang accelerator card as well as the required software on request.
