(PresseBox) - Honour at the German SME Summit: Ranga Yogeshwar pays tribute to comemso electronics GmbH from Ostfildern on the occasion of its success in the TOP 100 innovation competition. The award ceremony at the Summit will take place on Friday evening, 24 June, in Frankfurt am Main for all medium sized enterprizes (SME) that were awarded with the TOP 100 seal at the beginning of the year. The science journalist will accompany the innovation competition, which is being held for the 29th time, as a mentor. In the scientific selection procedure, comemso electronics was particularly convincing in the size category B (51 to 200 employees) in the categories "innovation success" and "innovation-promoting top management".

Since they could not find any test systems on the market while working for an automotive company, the two engineers Dr. Kiriakos Athanasas and Anita Athanasas decided in 2009 to develop the necessary devices themselves in their own company. With their company comemso electronics, they can now offer their customers a test stand for battery management systems for electric vehicles as well as devices for charging system analysis.
The couple see themselves as innovation-promoting top managers who are always bringing novelties to the market. Kiriakos Athanasas is the head of the development department and supervises the production team leaders, while his wife heads sales, marketing and product management. "These are the two key positions in the company where decisions about innovations are made," says Anita Athanasas. In sales, she always has her ear close to the customer and receives numerous suggestions for innovations through her discussions. For both of them, the exchange of good ideas with the employees is also important.
