Radio-Domains and Channel-Domains are made for Radio Stations
Two-Character-Domains at Radio-Domains become availabe
(PresseBox) - The Radio-Domain can be used for web and email addresses and is managed by the EBU with the support of the other world broadcasting unions.
Exceptionally for the internet world, the Radio-Domain project is a Community TLD, run for the benefit of the whole radio industry and amateur enthusiasts and reserved for people and companies with active interest in the radio sector.
Radio-Domains are made for radio stations. They are especially suitable for radio stations that already have the term "radio" in their name, such as e.g. Virgin Radio.
The new domain radiostation.radio reflects 1:1 the name of the radio station at the net. This smart name is characterized by a special memorability. Memorability is the secret behind the success of websites on the web.
But even radio stations that do not have radio in their name have to expect that Internet users will enter their name in the browser in connection with the new Radio-Domain based on internal logic. If nothing comes up, the radio station has lost traffic that could easily have been taken away.
Interested radio stations may apply for two-character-domains.
Two-Character-Domains are specially memorable.The memorability forms the key of a successful marketing of a domain s website.
Google is introducing the Channel-Domains.
Channel-Domains are made for Radio stations. If your Radio-Domain is taken, you may register your name at the Channel-Domain.
Secura GmbH, an ICANN accredited Registrar and official agent of the Trademark Clearinghouse, has the intellectual property know-how to use the existent trademarks of radio stations or to get relevant trademarks at short notice, in order that the radio stations may participate at the sunrise period of the Channel-Domains.
