(firmenpresse) - This summer Contrast Getaway Adventures puts up a special delicacy for adventure loving travelers. They expand their range for an expedition of a very special kind, exploring the jungle of the amazons.
Starting in Coca, Ecuador in a canoe heading away from all civilization for the jungle areas of Yasuni and Cuyabeno national park and the tribal areas of the Kichwa and Secoya idios all the way to Iquitos in Peru.
First of all Coca, a real jungle settlement, is to be explored and plan the exciting trip next to the hot volcanic source of the Papallacta. The adventure fans experience the breathtakingly nice and virtually untouched nature of the rainforest on motor boats and partly on little tree boats. Furthermore all group members meet the native Kichwa and Secoya and get to know their natural way of life by cooking together and staying as a guest in their huts in comfortable hammocks or expedition beds. As a special bonus, this once in a life experience is topped by a shamans ceremony where everyone gets the chance to try Ayahuasca. Rounded up is this trip with a traditional ride on a freighter going on the Rio Napo to Iquios the biggest city of the world with no connection to the road network.
This exceptional expedition is going in small groups of 4 to 8 people. This year it is just departing once from the 21th August to the 6th September and it costs 1 670 euro including all transports by bus, jeep, boat, plane etc, all accommodation, full board and expedition kitchen. Furthermore this trip is accompanied with a English speaking guide as well as local nature guides and helpers.
