The ultra-lightweight carbon wheels from thyssenkrupp Carbon Components are now available for the latest BMW Motorrad models. In addition to the existing product portfolio, thyssenkrupp offer their unique wheels for the BMW S 1000 XR and BMW S 1000 R.
It''s not just the BMW S 1000 XR and BMW S 1000 R that have true superbike DNA. The ultra-light carbon wheels from thyssenkrupp are also impressive, both on the racetrack and on the road. Thanks to DOT E, JWL and ABE certification the carbon wheels from thyssenkrupp Carbon Components can be ridden on public roads worldwide. The ultra-lightweight braided carbon wheels have direct influence on the motorcycles character traits. The significant weight reduction compared to forged aluminium wheels leads to a noticeable improvement in agility for the rider as well as in the braking characteristics and acceleration of the vehicle. At the same time, the thyssenkrupp wheels meet the very highest stability and safety requirements.
