New DIN-SPEC 9012 facilitates data exchange for demanding material data between companies
Free webinar at the ILA Berlin 2020
(PresseBox) - High-performance materials in aerospace applications require extensive validation through tests and the creation of material models for the design. Data is often measured in highly specialized laboratories that are certified by Nadcap. So far there has been no systematic way of transferring consistent data records together with certificates and laboratory reports from the laboratories to suppliers or OEMs. The new DIN SPEC 9012 standard closes this gap.
The aerospace consortium consisting of Airbus, Aircraft Philipps Group, Advanced Logistics for Aerospace, AMAG Austria Metals, Biersack, Costesa, Matplus, Otto Fuchs and WMG Group has developed a new data exchange format in an extensive project. It holds documents, e.g. B. signed PDFs, together with the stored digital test data. This test data can also be complex curves, e.g. B. W
The new concept, along with practical examples and software tools, will be presented on July 23. at 14:00 in a free webinar. Registration under webinar DIN Spec 9012
