Former Qualifa founder James Burton appointed as Board Advisor at Citrus Ornge
(firmenpresse) - November 27, 2019: Performance marketing, technology and publishing start-up, Citrus Ornge has appointed James Burton as Board Advisor – Strategy and Sales.
James is an experienced entrepreneur who has built and grown companies across a range of sectors, from telecoms and software to technology marketing and garden annexes. In 2009 he founded Qualifa (tech lead generation), building the business to a multi-million turnover with offices in the UK, USA, Singapore and New Zealand. Qualifa was acquired by Clarion Events in 2016 and since then James has established new businesses within the home improvements sector.
He will assist Founder and CEO, Jason Baker, and his growing team with commercial strategy and execution, whilst also helping to develop Citrus Ornge’s ad agency business and new client acquisition.
James joins Non-Exec Chairman Ian Woolley and existing board advisors Charlie Curtis, a recruitment business owner assisting across media and partnerships, and Carmel Millar, who is a HR professional with 44 years’ experience including HR Director for the British Library. The board is working with Jason Baker to help evolve the agency from new challenger lead generation business to established sector thought leader.
Citrus Ornge’s business model is built around a core social mission; to provide employment for those recovering from addiction and ex-offenders through several work experience and mentoring initiatives with local community partners in Brighton and Hove. The objective is to change societal stigmas aimed at the addiction and ex-offender community.
