PACE and Cockpit4u join forces to provide VR-enhanced pilot training
(PresseBox) - PACE, a leading provider of pioneering aerospace and aviation software, and Cockpit4u, an EASA-approved, internationally renowned pilot training organization, today announced that they have entered a partnership which will enable them to develop innovative training solutions for flight crews. Integrating high-end virtual reality technology, the training software is designed to make the efficiency and educational benefits of immersive learning environments available to the companies? airline clients.
Under the partnership agreement PACE will provide customized virtual training software for Cockpit4u?s training center in Berlin-Scht. At present, virtual exercises merely prep students for later live training, but the companies? mid-term vision is to achieve validated equivalence to more traditional teaching methods.
"We are currently witnessing a technology-driven paradigm shift that impacts all areas of aviation training," explained J& Simulation at PACE. "Cockpit4u and PACE are natural partners for promoting new training approaches: both are based in Berlin and serve an overlapping customer base with complementary expertise. The unfiltered feedback from Cockpit4u?s students and instructors is extremely valuable for us and will help us make our software as relevant and intuitive as possible."

Kicking off the partnership, PACE and Cockpit4u will present their training products and services at the European Airline Training Symposium, which will be held in Berlin from October 29 to 30, 2019.
