Clarifying Announcement

Further to the announcement released by Cape Lambert Resources Limited (ASX: CFE) (Cape Lambert or the Company) on 12 July 2019, and as required under the Listing Rules and requested by ASX, Cape Lambert advises that the two banks that visited the DRC with Cape Lamberts consulting mining engineer are AFC and Afreximbank, and that Cape Lambert is discussing the rolling LC with China Everbright Bank.
China Everbright Bank (CEB), which was established in August 1992 and headquartered in Beijing, is a national joint-stock commercial bank approved by the State Council of China and the Peoples Bank of China. The Bank was listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange (SSE) in August 2010 (stock code 601818) and the Hong Kong Stock Exchange (HKSE) in December 2013 (stock code 6818).
Cape Lambert remains in ongoing discussions with the above funders, and no binding agreements have been entered into. The Company will update the market as and when required under the Listing Rules.
