ECOC Exhibition close to sell out as Market Focus call for speakers enters final week
Last few exhibition spaces remain with confirmed exhibitors including leading names as Infinera and ECOC 2019 home nation representatives, IBM Research Ireland
(firmenpresse) - Dublin, Ireland, 24 June 2019: European Conference on Optical Communications Exhibition (ECOC), one of the largest optical communications exhibitions in Europe, has confirmed that IBM Research Ireland and Infinera will join some of the best recognized names in technology at this year’s event, which will take place in Ireland.
Taking place at the RDS Venue in Dublin between 23-25 September, ECOC will provide a unique platform for decision makers from right across the fibre optic communications technology industry.
“With just days to go until the 2019 Market Focus call for speakers closes, we look forward to receiving the final submissions for this year’s presentations. Last year’s event saw record numbers of exhibitors and attendees and this year looks set to replicate that success,” said Emma Harvey, Commercial Director at Nexus Media Events. “There’s been a great reaction to the themes so far and we’re proud to be able to offer attendees the high level of expertise and debate they have come to expect.”
Following on from the momentum of more than 3,500 visitors attending Market Focus sessions at ECOC 2018, confirmed topics this year will include transportation sensing and 5G, providing insight into some of the most topical aspects of fibre optic technology.
Also featuring at ECOC will be the FTTx Centre, organized in conjunction with CTTS, to showcase some of the most groundbreaking fibre-related products in a specially designed area, complete with live demonstrations.
Attendees can also participate in hands on and intensive training sessions which will provide the opportunity to gain insight into key techniques. The sessions will explore techniques such as modern fusion splicing using handheld fusion splicers and passive optical network testing using PON optimised OTDRs.
