Avnet Silica augments extensive silicon portfolio with addition of IDT mixed-signal analog product range
Distributor gains full access to wide selection of IDT silicon devices, including sensors, clock and timing ICs, and wireless power technologies
(PresseBox) - Avnet Silica, an Avnet company (Nasdaq: AVT), today announced it has added IDT, a Renesas Company, to its supplier portfolio. IDT?s extensive line card of products feature leading-edge RF devices for communication systems, wireless power charging technologies, sensors for industrial automation applications, and high-performance clock and timing ICs for processor designs.
The introduction of the IDT product line builds upon the recent acquisition of IDT by Renesas Electronics, a key silicon partner for Avnet Silica, enabling the distributor to further enhance its offering in key markets such as building and home automation, as well as communications and automotive. Customers of Avnet Silica will benefit from this winning combination in numerous high-growth, data-driven economy markets.
Leading product areas offered by IDT include environmental sensors designed to measure, monitor and sense smart devices in industrial applications.
