Out-of-the-Box Support to Build MSIX Packages
Microsoft''s new packaging format, MSIX, brings together the best of MSI, AppX and App-V into one package and runs applications in their own containers, enabling cleaner installations and uninstalls. InstallShield 2018 R2 supports creating MSIX packages or migrating existing MSI projects effortlessly. Developers will be able to use existing installation projects to generate MSIX packages with just a few clicks.
