(PresseBox) - Complex mechanical engineering, as in the semiconductor industry, requires versatile and flexible solutions for electrical connections. With Series MOD, GES High Voltage, Inc. ? a leader in high voltage connectivity - can provide a system that can transmit up to 12 kV DC of high voltage plus control signals, data or cooling air in a single hybrid modular connector system.
The modules are inserted into a frame that goes into a housing available in various sizes and with various locking systems and cable entries. A single connector configuration can incorporate up to seven high voltage modules for a total of 14 high-voltage connections. Alternatively, high voltage modules can be combined with signal, data, coax or air/fluid modules resulting in a hybrid solution for a complex application.
