Cisco Live! Orlando 2018: Italtel to demo enterprise applications on intuitive networks
Italtel continues to make its mark in the United States, demonstrating its capacity to leverage Cisco's open platforms to build end-to-end cross-technology solutions
(firmenpresse) - Milan, Italy, June 12 - Italtel, a leading multinational company operating in the Information and Technology sector, with a strong focus on IP networking, cloud computing, cyber security, Network Functions Virtualization and Software-Defined Networks (SDN), today announced it is attending Cisco Live, Cisco''s Annual IT and Communications Conference, for the first time to present its Netwrapper application, an Industry 4.0 solution based on Cisco''s Digital Network Architecture Center (Cisco DNA Center) and Cisco cross architecture.

It can create solutions and use cases that match customers'' needs according to a new model that leverages open architecture and OpEx-based models. This distinctive approach has enabled Italtel to provide solutions that accelerate transformation and deliver value-added services for its customers'' line of business.

Italtel is an early adopter of the DNA Architecture and through close collaboration with Cisco, it has developed an enterprise SDN application - the Italtel Netwrapper for Unified Communications and Collaboration (UC&C) - which is part of Cisco''s official GPL catalogue.
Italtel has already cemented its presence in the USA with an office in Miami, Florida, and has recently opened a second office in San Jose, California, in the heart of Silicon Valley. The new offices highlight Italtel''s commitment to its global growth, as it aims to expand into international markets over the next few years.
"By positioning ourselves at the heart of Silicon Valley we aim to enhance our collaborative work with Cisco and to create opportunities with startups and other Cisco partners, since we plan to have an indirect sales model in the future," said Camillo Ascione.
Italtel is demonstrating its Netwrapper solution and its key use cases with Cisco DNA, Cisco Kinetic and Cisco WebEx teams in the Enterprise Networking & Mobility area at Cisco Live! 2018, which is taking place in Orlando, until Thursday, June 14.
