The conference is intended to answer the burning questions of logistics managers regarding Brexit: such as whether haulage companies will have to apply for an International Haulage Permit; how Customs will work for EU traded goods; what are the predicted timings for changes, and more.

Keynote Speakers

The keynote speakers include the MP Robin Walker, who is Parliamentary Under Secretary of State at the Department for Exiting the European Union. Walker will deliver a statement direct from government, detailing some of the work being done to get to grips with the consequences(on import and export) of leaving the Customs Union and the Single Market. Walker will be joined by Karen Wheeler, who is Director Generalof the Cross Government Border Delivery Group. Wheeler has considerable experience delivering major change programmes and is bringing her expertise to bear on the issue of maintaining the efficiency of UK borders over the next few years.

Also worth hearing will be the speakers discussing the points of view from Dublin and Calais, and assessing whether they are ready for Brexit.
