CEBIT 2018: signotec exclusively presents three new product innovations

(PresseBox) - Using the occasion of the CEBIT, signotec presents its new products. From June 12 to 15, 2018, visitors can check out the newest member of the signotec Delta family ? a pen display with additional touchscreen functionality. The signotec Epsilon Touch Pen Display operates accordingly, but offers a larger display of 15,6? (39,5 cm). Another novelty: signoSign2 now supports the qualified electronic signature via Smartcard reader.
Soft- and hardware from a single source: As in every year, signotec takes also in 2018 advantage of the occasion to present its comprehensive solutions for electronic signatures on signotec signature captures pads and mobile devices on the CEBIT, the world?s largest exhibition for information technology. In hall 15 on booth D19 visitors can obtain their own impression of signotec?s broad product range.
In addition to the existing signature capture devices, signotec presents three product novelties. The 10,1? (25,5 cm) signotec Delta Pen Display is now also available in a version with a user-friendly, capacitive touch function. In contrast to other touch technologies, capacitive touchscreens are not only more robust against scratches, but the finger touch itself also allows a more precise operation of the display. On the multi-touch screen, more than one finger can be used simultaneously ? e.g. for zooming in or out. The signotec Delta Touch Pen Display can be ideally used at self-service terminals where forms can be completed on a virtual keyboard and can be signed afterwards. The recording of the signature itself is made by pen, in order to allow the secure biometric signature.
Another brand-new product is the signotec Epsilon Touch Pen Display. It has basically the same functions as the signotec Delta Touch Pen Display but disposes of a significantly larger display with 15,6? (39,5 cm), by which the operator convenience is additionally enhanced.
Both pads can either be placed on the desk in a space-saving manner or can be brought into an oblique position with its integrated stand.
A novelty in terms of our software is that signoSign/2 now supports the qualified electronic signature with the smartcard reader. As per definition in the EU-wide eIDAS-regulation for electronic signatures, this kind of signature corresponds to the highest quality level of the e-signature and can be the only one to replace the written form if required by law.
