FT 300 electric strike - flexible safety for fire protection doors
(PresseBox) - Electric strikes are useful and important aids for doors which experience a high level of use. For emergency exits that double up as fire protection doors, special emergency exit electric strikes are vital. The new FT300 emergency exit electric strike is approved for use on fire protection doors under DIN EN 14846:2008 and thus optimally suited for this purpose. It also offers greater convenience, as it opens doors even with a preload of up to 500 N, with a full latch engagement. The latch engagement depth is nine millimetres for double-leaf solid leaf doors. At the same time, the FT300 offers a maximum holding force of 10,000 N against tampering, allowing it to be used as a safety electric strike too.
Thanks to a new connection technology, manual installation is easy: the connection block can optionally be reconnected, enabling universal installation. Moreover, the FT300 fits in all conventional strike plates, and can also be easily adjusted in this instance.
