Push Doctor selects Onfido to power secure access to digital healthcare

Push Doctor, founded in 2013, connects patients to over 7,000 GMC registered UK General Practitioners for secure online video consultations. Providing prescriptions, sick notes and referral letters, Push Doctor enables patients to book an appointment and speak to a GP via their phone or computer within an average of six minutes. As a Care Quality Commission (CQC) registered service, Push Doctor partnered with Onfido to help meet regulatory guidelines and deliver the safest possible service to its users.
With traditionally offline medical services increasingly moving online, Push Doctor needed a secure way to meet patienteople using stolen identities.
The partnership enables Push Doctor to deliver the most robust and secure service to its patients, going above and beyond current CQC requirements. They chose Onfido for its superior match rates and continued investment in machine learning to automate the identity verification process
