The low height of the front I / O and the flat heat sink allow its usage in automatic machine or widescreen displays at airports and train stations where confined space is the limiting factor. Numerous USB, RS-232 or RS-232/422/485 and SATA 6Gb/s interfaces provide also flexibility in using suitable peripherals. There is also a full / half-size mini PCIe slot with on-board SIM holder, which can be used in conjunction with an additional 3G / 4G module. With the second PCIe Mini slot, the WAFER-AL can be extended by a mSATA memory. Upon customer request, ICP supplies the WAFER-AL as a pre-configured Ready-to-Use system with adapted BIOS, operating system and industrial memory modules.
