Endace chooses StarLink as its Value-added Distributor (VAD) across Europe to promote its network recording and packet capture

(firmenpresse) - Endace chooses StarLink as its Value-added Distributor (VAD) across Europe to promote its network recording and packet capture

20th November 2017: Endace, a specialist in high-speed network recording and network history playback, has today announced a partnership with the “True” value-added IT distributor, StarLink, to expand in the EMEA security and IT markets.

StarLink has its global headquarters in Dubai, but is growing rapidly in Europe through its UK based regional headquarters. Endace has provided high-speed network recording and visibility solutions for over 15 years. The partnership will see Endace’s technology distributed by StarLink to help businesses mitigate risks from cyber-attacks and better manage the security of their critical network assets.

“Network security is paramount in today’s connected world, especially given recent high-profile examples of costly hacks and breaches,” commented Stuart Wilson, CEO of Endace. “Network packet capture is essential to enable companies to quickly and accurately analyse security events. Partnering with StarLink, with its deep channel relationships in this market, will enable us to extend our reach and continue to accelerate our growth in EMEA.”

Wilson said interest in Endace network recording solutions has increased dramatically as organisations grapple with how to handle breaches, highlighted by the recent Equifax breach, and in light of growing mandatory breach disclosure requirements, such as those imposed by the upcoming GDPR regulations.

“Organisations are rethinking their approach to cybersecurity”, Wilson said. “Increasingly, they are realising it is no longer a question of if they will be breached, but when. They want to ensure they can investigate attacks more quickly and more accurately. And if a breach happens, they can reconstruct it precisely and have definitive evidence of what’s taken place.”

Niall McGrane, VP of Europe at StarLink, said "Endace provide us with the technology to deliver powerful and integrated security solutions to customers, through our growing base of reseller partners. Full Network Visibility is certainly a hot topic, across Network and Security teams, and we aim to use this to provide a complete solution to those looking for both security and performance. We’re delighted to position Endace as a complimentary part of our vendor portfolio and the StarLink Solution Lifecycle."
